First Week is a nice new series by young artist Laura York. She has a keen eye for color and composition. More importantly her concepts come across nicely through her use of self expression. She has my vote for "In"Flickr.

I'm attempting to do the 52week self portrait project. Started it the first week of summer.

Also this is kinda for this props self portrait challenge on DPS. Prop is mainly my ring, just bought it and love it!

Overall the look is pretty. I think it could use better cropping and a stronger focus on emotion and concept/ But nice overall.
